Acknowledgement

All applications received before the deadline will be acknowledged by email.

Notification of decision

You will be notified by email before Christmas if your application has been successful and told what your grant offer will be. If you accept the offer, we will ask for your bank details and arrange a bank transfer.

If you have not heard from us by Christmas then you can assume you have not been successful (but don’t forget to check your junk folder, just in case).

We receive a large number of applications so, unfortunately, we cannot enter into correspondence with unsuccessful applicants regarding decisions on awards.

During the project

Once you have been awarded a grant, we expect you to undertake your project as described in your application.

If something crops up that means you have to significantly change how you will do your project, just tell us, and provide a revised plan showing how the project will now meet the goals you originally set. Failure to tell us about a significant change may affect your ability to secure a future grant.

Otherwise, we do not expect progress reports until your project is completed.

On completion

Once you have finished your project (which must be completed within one year of receipt of grant) you must submit a report in your own words showing how the project was achieved; what the outcomes were and how they aligned with the Foundation’s objectives; and how the grant was spent. The report should be accompanied by 4 jpeg images of the completed project.

We expect to be able to use your project report to promote the work of the Foundation, including extracting information from it for our website.  Consent for us to use your report and your images on our website or for publicity for the Foundation is a requirement of the grant.

Failure to submit a report will exclude you from being able to apply to the Foundation in future.
